The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to perform non-destructive digging. This role requires a strong understanding of excavation processes and the ability to work efficiently and safely on job sites.

Duties Operate Equipment:

Safely operate heavy machinery and related equipment to perform tasks such as potholing, trenching, and daylighting of underground utilities.​

Site Preparation:

Assess job sites to determine the safest and most efficient excavation methods.​

Maintenance:

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and report any issues promptly.​

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper signage.​

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily reports, equipment logs, and safety checklists.​

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other crew members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.​

Qualifications Experience :

Minimum of 1 year construction experience

License :

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.​

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.​ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret utility maps and blueprints. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
