Job Description

Join our dynamic construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator, where your expertise will drive the success of diverse projects. In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate excavation, grading, material transport, and site development. Your mechanical knowledge and construction site experience will be vital in ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to impactful infrastructure projects. Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks. Safely operate specialized vehicles such as concrete mixers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tankers to transport materials across construction sites. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols and construction standards to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Assist with site preparation activities such as clearing land, leveling surfaces, and setting up work zones. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and report any operational concerns or incidents. Proven construction site experience with heavy equipment operation in a fast-paced environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery including Caterpillar (CAT) equipment and other brands. Valid commercial driver's license with experience operating large vehicles such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, or front loader trucks.
Hands-on experience operating various machinery:
dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, crane, water truck, roll-off truck, farm machinery or similar equipment. Knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to heavy equipment operation on construction sites. Ability to perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
