Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking adaptable Heavy Equipment GPS Operators to join our growing team. These positions involve the operation of heavy equipment including but not limited to excavators , dozers , haul trucks, backhoes, and wheel loaders . The Equipment Operators will primarily work on project sites in the Pittsburgh, PA area. A successful candidate should possess a positive attitude and at least 3-5 years of prior experience operating heavy GPS equipment. Duties Operates heavy equipment with earth moving capabilities (70,000lbs minimum) in a safe and effective manner. Operate bulldozer and/or excavator with GPS technology Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures. Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment and reports defects or needed repairs to the foreman and/or superintendent. Ensures compliance with company control standards and procedures. Perform manual labor such as digging, shoveling, assisting with placement of pipe and material or other manual labor duties as assigned. Proactively communicates with foreman, superintendent and coworkers. Promotes teamwork that increases productivity and efficiency. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, or similar machinery in a construction setting Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment systems and components Familiarity with GPS-guided construction technology and horizontal drilling systems is highly desirable Valid driver's license with experience driving dump trucks, water trucks, tankers, or other large vehicles on construction sites Knowledge of construction safety standards and site protocols Ability to interpret technical instructions and operate machinery with precision using GPS controls Construction site experience involving paving, grading, excavation, or related activities is preferred Join us as a Heavy Equipment GPS Operator and play a vital role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects! Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
