As an Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Must be able to operate various pieces of heavy equipment in site reclamation, road work, and right of way pipeline work including, but not limited to: Dozer Excavator Roller Skid Steer Rock Truck Grader Skidder Must be able to dig around utilities, operate in very close quarters, must be able to work well with ground labors, must be able to follow directions from Foreman. Operate a variety of equipment including backhoes, loaders, and scrapers on commercial and industrial projects in a safe manner and within the production goals established. Lift heavy loads up to and exceeding 70 pounds. Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site. Backfill trenches and pit when necessary. Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools. and equipment when not in use and securing the job site daily. Education, Skills and/orWork Experience Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years' prior experience on a paving crew. Must be able to concentrate on tasks for extended periods of time. The ability to understand and communicate information. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to do basic math. Must be able to safely operate hand and power tools. Prior experience is required.Benefits:
