Heavy Equipment Operator

Heavy Equipment Operators Responsibilities:

Operates equipment including excavator, dozer, backhoe and other heavy equipment. Performs routine daily maintenance on all trucks, trailers and heavy equipment, including fueling, servicing and minor mechanical repairs . Prepares daily reports of equipment hours, inventory and fuel used. Communicate with Mechanics for truck and equipment repair . Coordinate with crew members in response to hand and/or audio signals

Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements:

MUST have experience with excavator, dozer, and/or articulated truck. Proficient in rock breaking, lot clearing, pad building, grading .

• Ability to read and interpret plans. A proven safety record. Must have experience performing pre-trip inspections and day to day maintenance on Heavy Equipment. CDL not a must but it might be helpful .
• Follow all company safety policies including taking specific action to avoid other workers, other equipment, and potential obstructions and marked or unmarked utility lines.
