Location:

Central Texas / Oilfield Operations Gandy & Sons is seeking a dependable and motivated Front End Loader Operator with a valid CDL to join our team full-time. This position primarily supports oilfield drilling operations and requires safe operation of heavy equipment, transportation of equipment/materials, and assistance with day-to-day field operations. The ideal candidate will be safety-minded, dependable, able to work independently, and comfortable working around drilling rigs and active job sites. Responsibilities Operate front-end loaders safely and efficiently Load, unload, and transport oilfield materials and equipment Offload casing, drill pipe, mats, tanks, and other heavy materials Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks Maintain safe work practices around active drilling operations Follow company and customer safety procedures Assist with general field duties as needed Communicate effectively with supervisors, company representatives, and rig personnel Requirements Valid CDL (Class A preferred) Clean driving record required Minimum 1 year of over-the-road (OTR) driving experience or verifiable equipment operation experience Experience operating front-end loaders or heavy equipment Ability to pass drug screening and meet company safety requirements Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical job duties Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Oilfield experience preferred but not required Preferred Qualifications Experience with articulated loaders such as Case 621, John Deere 624, or similar equipment Previous experience around drilling rigs or within the oilfield Knowledge of safe material handling and equipment operation Benefits Health Insurance available after 90 days Paid Time Off (PTO) Competitive hourly pay Opportunity for overtime Growth opportunities Schedule Full-time Overnight travel may be required Weekend work as needed On-call availability required Hours may vary depending on operational demands Apply today to join a company that values safety, reliability, and hard work.
