We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Excavator Operator with plumbing expertise to join our construction team. Duties Lead excavation operations using excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and other heavy equipment to prepare sites for construction projects. Oversee and assist with plumbing installations, including water lines, drainage systems, and related piping work. Operate standard Bobcat E35, Mini Excavator, and Skid Loader. Ensure all equipment is maintained properly, conducting regular inspections and troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly. Coordinate with project managers and team members to plan excavation sequences and plumbing tasks efficiently. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all operations. Supervise junior operators and laborers, providing guidance to ensure quality work and safe practices on site. Qualifications Proven experience operating excavators and other necessary machinery used to complete residential and commercial plumbing jobs Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Prior construction site experience with a focus on excavation and plumbing installation projects. Valid CDL (commercial driver's license) with a clean driving record; experience driving Caterpillar equipment is a plus. Knowledge of plumbing systems including piping techniques, water supply systems, drainage solutions, and related components. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics related to excavation and plumbing work.
