Commercial driving Leadership Full Job Description Track Hoe Operator - Immediate Openings (Charleston, SC Area) A fast-growing sitework contractor is actively seeking experienced Track Hoe Operators to join their team. This position is ideal for operators with experience in excavation, storm drain installation, grading support, and trench work. Candidates with GPS experience and the ability to work around pipe crews are highly encouraged to apply. Position Details Full-time, long-term, year-round employment All job sites are within 50 miles of Charleston, SC Home daily Competitive pay: $22-$28/hr based on experience Schedule Monday-Friday (Saturday work available) 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Paid through lunch Generous overtime opportunities available Responsibilities Operate track hoes/excavators safely and efficiently on sitework projects Excavate for storm drain, drainage, grading, and earthwork operations Dig trenches to grade and maintain proper slopes Work closely with pipe crews and grade checkers Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks Follow site plans and directions from supervisors and foremen Benefits 401(k) with 6% company match Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 2 Weeks Paid Time Off to start 1 Week Paid Sick Leave 2 Weeks Paid Paternity Leave Large Production Bonus in November Exceptional opportunities for advancement Qualifications Minimum 1 year of track hoe/excavator operating experience preferred Experience in sitework, storm drain, excavation, grading, or utility construction preferred Ability to work safely around crews and underground utilities GPS machine control experience is a plus Reliable transportation required High school diploma or equivalent preferred Work Location Multiple job sites throughout Charleston, SC and surrounding areas.
