Position Summary:

C.R. Jackson, Inc. is seeking an experienced Roller Operator to join our asphalt paving crew. This role is critical to delivering high-quality finished surfaces by ensuring proper compaction and density. The ideal candidate understands rolling patterns, communicates effectively with the paving team, and takes pride in producing a smooth, durable mat.

What You'll Do:

Operate steel drum and/or pneumatic rollers to achieve proper compaction and finish Follow an established roller pattern Work closely with the paving foreman and QC technicians Monitor mat temperature and density to ensure quality standards are met Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team
