In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating boom trucks to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites and within warehouse environments. Your expertise will ensure efficient material handling, support construction activities, and uphold safety standards across all operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities Operate boom trucks safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position construction materials, machinery, and other heavy loads Conduct pre-operation inspections of the boom truck to ensure all safety features are functional Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to determine load requirements and placement Rig loads securely using appropriate rigging techniques to prevent shifting or falling during transport Assist with materials handling tasks such as loading and unloading shipments in warehouse or shipping & receiving areas Maintain accurate records of daily operations, inspections, and maintenance activities Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations to minimize risks on the job site Communicate effectively with team members regarding load details, safety concerns, or operational issues Requirements Proven experience operating boom trucks or similar heavy equipment in construction or industrial settings Mechanical knowledge of crane systems, rigging techniques, and general heavy machinery maintenance Valid commercial driver's license with relevant endorsements for operating heavy equipment Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other construction machinery Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and procedures Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on boom trucks Prior warehouse experience including shipping & receiving operations is preferred Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in dynamic environments If you are a motivated professional with a passion for safe operation of heavy equipment and supporting construction projects efficiently, we encourage you to apply today.
