Heavy Construction Equipment Operator Brock Contracting Sioux Falls, SD Job Details Full-time From $30 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Excavator Equipment safety procedures Driver's License Driving Dozer Loader operation Skid steer loader Full Job Description Qualifications Authorized to work in the United States One must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Minimum of at least 21 years of age required A minimum of three years operating construction equipment Dependable! - show up everyday and show up ontime Safely follow company policies and procedures Show initiative and hustle while trying to anticipate needs/wants of what is next Work well with others on your crew and everyone in the company Get out of equipment to assist others working on your crew Responsibilities Work under minimal supervision at times, safely and efficiently Types of equipment that may be operated are dozer, excavator, grader, mini excavator, skid steer, wheel loader, track loader, compaction equipment and haul truck on large and small projects From time to time, the job may require shoveling, bending, stooping, and carrying over 50 lbs Must keep equipment and work truck clean inside and out Daily equipment inspections Daily lubrication and maintenance Must safely operate company-owned equipment to prevent damage Maneuvering heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of personnel and management Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each day Job/duties Summary The Equipment Operator's duties include preparing and manipulating heavy equipment to ensure appropriate movement of materials and working with coworkers to ensure the projects are completed accurately. Types of construction equipment that may be operated are dozer, excavator, skid steer, wheel loader, track loader, compaction equipment and haul trucks on large and small projects. From time to time, the job may require shoveling, bending, stooping, and carrying over 50 lbs.
