Equipment Operator Woelber Excavating, LLC Equipment Operator Woelber Excavating, LLC Belle Fourche / Spearfish, SD area Woelber Excavating is an established heavy civil underground contractor specializing in water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer construction. We're looking for skilled, dependable Equipment Operators who take pride in doing things the right way and want to be part of a solid, professional crew. What You'll Be Doing Operate excavators, loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment for underground utility work Excavate trenches safely and accurately for water, sewer, and storm installations Work closely with pipe layers and laborers to maintain grade, alignment, and production Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Assist with ground work when needed to keep the crew moving Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Follow all safety procedures and company standards What We're Looking For Experience operating heavy equipment in underground utility or civil construction Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude Ability to take direction and work as part of a team Valid driver's license required Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime available Steady, year-round work — not seasonal bouncing Opportunities to grow into lead operator or foreman roles Professional, organized operation with well-maintained equipment Apply on Indeed or contact us directly.
