ZR Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Cat mini-ex, to dig for water & sewer line replacements.
- Safely and efficiently dig trenches
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to complete projects on time
- You may be doing plumbing installs or repipes on occasion
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating excavators.
- Proficient in the use of various excavation techniques and equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus
Skills:
- Proficient in operating excavators to dig and move materials
- Knowledge to correctly install residential water service and sewer lines to private residences
- Knowledge of proper excavation techniques and safety procedures
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery and its operation
