CDL Excavator

Join an established underground utilities contractor in Nashville, TN as a CDL Excavator ! This is an exciting opportunity to support major fiber network construction throughout the Nashville market with a stable company that has been in business for 30 years, offers years of backlog, works with top-tier clients, and provides room for growth as it expands into new markets. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CDL Excavator position include: Minimum 3 years of experience operating excavation equipment, mini excavators, or related underground utility equipment. CDL is required for candidates hauling equipment, materials, or supporting company transportation needs. Operate excavation equipment safely while supporting new fiber network construction projects. Understand how to avoid damaging existing underground utilities while working around active job sites. Communicate professionally with homeowners and others who may ask questions about work being performed. Travel between job sites throughout the Nashville market, with work typically within a small site radius once assigned for the day. Support daily field work beginning around 7:00 AM, with typical hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Work 40-50 hours per week, with overtime available for excavators.

Salary :

$30 to $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
