GPS Dozer Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled GPS Dozer Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating GPS-enabled bulldozers to perform precise grading and earthmoving tasks across various construction sites. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and safely, contributing to the successful delivery of infrastructure and development projects. Duties Operate GPS-equipped dozers to perform grading, leveling, and earthmoving tasks with precision according to project specifications. Collaborate with project managers and survey teams to interpret plans and ensure accurate site layout. Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment, including dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, and tankers, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and work progress throughout each shift. Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to promote a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Assist with other heavy equipment operations such as horizontal drilling or paving as needed to support project requirements. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project updates, equipment status, and safety concerns. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers (preferably Caterpillar), loaders, excavators, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, or similar machinery on construction sites. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Familiarity with GPS technology used in modern earthmoving machinery for precise grading. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in operating construction-related vehicles like dump trucks or tankers is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and regulations. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings accurately. Prior experience with horizontal drilling or paving projects is a plus but not mandatory.
