Operations / Logistics Job Summary The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment used in construction, maintenance, or industrial projects. This role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Key Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, forklifts, graders, or cranes. Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition. Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times. Load, move, and unload materials as required by the job. Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, fueling, and minor repairs. Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and instructions. Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks. Identify and report mechanical issues or safety hazards. Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and hazard-free. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Valid equipment operator certification or license (if required by local regulations). Proven experience operating heavy machinery. Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices. Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
