Loader Operator

Position Summary The Loader Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a front-end loader to move raw materials such as sand, gravel, and aggregates used in concrete production. This position supports daily plant operations by ensuring materials are properly stocked, blended, and available for production needs. Responsibilities Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently to load, move, and stockpile materials Supply aggregate materials to batching plants as needed Perform routine equipment inspections and report mechanical issues promptly Maintain proper material stockpiles and ensure clean, organized yard conditions Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Assist with basic maintenance and cleanup around the plant site Communicate with plant operators and supervisors regarding material needs and site conditions Qualifications This individual must be able to successfully communicate and coordinate with other team members at all times to maximize production Prior experience operating a front-end loader or heavy equipment preferred Ability to safely operate machinery in a production or industrial environment Basic mechanical understanding of heavy equipment Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Must be able to work extended hours as needed Valid driver's license preferred (CDL a plus, if applicable)Employee required to talk, hear, stand, walk, push, pull, sit, use hands, handle, feel, reach with hands or arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and work outdoors.
