Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling rigs, and paving machines with precision and safety. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist in site preparation by clearing land, grading surfaces, and moving materials efficiently. Support various construction activities including paving, grading, water management, and horizontal drilling operations. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Coordinate with project managers and other crew members to execute tasks smoothly and meet project deadlines. Maintain detailed logs of machine usage, inspections, and any repairs or issues encountered during operations. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, (including Caterpillar models), backhoes, skid steers, dozers, loaders, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for operating large trucks like dump trucks or water trucks on-site. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety awareness.
