MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH OPERATING A BIG LOADER, LIFTING 50 LBS CONSISTANTLY, AND WORKING OUTSIDE.

Position Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Heavy Equipment Operator/Material Handler to join our team in Forth Worth, TX to work at a material yard. The Heavy Equipment Operator/ Material Handler will be responsible for handling, moving, and storing various non-hazardous materials in our outdoor laydown yard. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading transport items, recording inventory statuses, and ensuring deliveries match material requests accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries. Label products and place them accordingly. Identify and locate the right products during the delivery process. Maintain a well-organized and updated account of stock and inventory. Conduct regular maintenance to keep all material handling equipment in the best condition. Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit, using hand tools. Convey materials to or from storage or work sites to designated areas, using a hand truck, electric dolly, or other devices. Assemble crates to contain products using hand tools. Operate heavy construction equipment as necessary.

Job Requirements:

Ability to operate heavy construction equipment (telehandler, large wheel loader-35 ton with forks) Sufficient mobility, strength, flexibility, hearing, and sight to access all job-relevant areas and perform routine activities necessary to deliver required results. Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and model effective team behavior. Willingness to not only operate heavy equipment, but to also handle heavy equipment. Ability to work overtime with little notice.

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent work experience.
