Loader Operator

C-Rae Materials is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Loader Operator to join our team in Hooks, TX. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment to move, load, and manage materials within an asphalt plant environment. You will work closely with the Plant Foreman to ensure efficient material handling and safe equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, and excavators to move and load materials. Excavate, transport, and grade materials including rock, gravel, and other aggregates. Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and refueling. Assist the Plant Foreman with coordinating material movement and equipment usage. Follow all safety procedures and maintain awareness of surroundings at all times. Perform manual labor tasks as needed to support plant operations. Work outdoors in various weather conditions. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and inspections.

Qualifications:

Experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety practices. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing, bending, and lifting. Good manual dexterity and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
