We are seeking highly skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. This vital role involves operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision throughout all phases of site development. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction site operations, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate multiple types of heavy equipment. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Manage the operation of construction vehicles including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks. Assist in site preparation activities including grading, excavation, and land clearing using equipment like dozers and excavators. Support concrete pouring operations by operating concrete mixers and related machinery. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly. Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. Follow all safety regulations and company policies to minimize risks on-site. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and operational hours for maintenance scheduling. Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation. Mechanical knowledge related to the maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery such as Caterpillar equipment. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience operating various trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker vehicles. Hands-on experience operating specific machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and farm machinery. Familiarity with safety standards applicable to heavy equipment operation on construction sites. Ability to read technical manuals and interpret operational instructions effectively. Prior experience working with construction materials like concrete and soil is advantageous.
