Job Description

Duties Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and front loader trucks to perform construction tasks efficiently. Handle various types of trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks for material transport and site management. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material movement in accordance with project specifications. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Perform basic maintenance tasks on machinery and report any issues for repair or servicing. Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations across multiple projects and sites. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and related machinery. Construction site experience is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy equipment. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred; experience with commercial driving is a plus. Familiarity with concrete mixers, farm machinery, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker vehicles is advantageous. Ability to operate Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is preferred. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation on construction sites. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads when necessary.
