Job Description
Signature Group is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our civil concrete construction team. This is a hands-on position responsible for operating heavy equipment and supporting concrete construction activities. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and willing to work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and with quality workmanship. Responsibilities Safely operate excavators, backhoes, loaders, skid steers, compactors, and other heavy equipment Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation for concrete construction projects Assist the concrete crew as needed to support daily operations and project completion Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs Maintain assigned equipment in a clean and serviceable condition Follow all company safety policies and procedures Communicate effectively with Foremen, Superintendents, and crew members Work safely around personnel, equipment, utilities, traffic, and other jobsite hazards Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment Experience in civil, concrete, sitework, or industrial construction preferred Ability and willingness to work both in and out of equipment Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality work Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physical labor as required Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401k with company match Career advancement opportunities Steady work with a growing company Safety-focused work environment About Signature Group At Signature Group, we take pride in delivering quality concrete construction through hard work, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.
