Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating skid steer loaders and other heavy equipment to assist with various construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure efficient site operations, safety, and quality workmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills to contribute to successful project completion. Duties Operate skid steer loaders with precision, adhering to safety protocols and project specifications Utilize related heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards Assist with site preparation, material handling, grading, excavation, and backfilling tasks Follow construction plans and communicate effectively with team members to coordinate activities on-site Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and work completed Support other construction activities requiring mechanical knowledge or heavy machinery operation Experience Proven experience operating skid steer loaders in a construction environment Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including Caterpillar machinery and related tools Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for operating dump trucks or water trucks on-site Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in excavation. Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to heavy equipment operation and construction sites Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks Join us if you're ready to bring energy and expertise to a fast-paced construction environment!
