Transloader Operator (Wellman, TX)

The primary responsibility for the Transloader will be to efficiently unload/load bulk product in/out of rail cars/trucks within the facility. This position will also require basic knowledge on air compressors, pumps and conveyor systems.

Job Duties:

Operate transloading equipment including an air compressor, portable conveyor system, portable trans-loader and hand tools General maintenance, clean-up, and any other duties as assigned Must be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision Completes all paperwork throughout daily activities, follows all operational and safety procedures Must perform opening, closing, and railcar inspections with the correct date and time

Key Requirements:

Must be able to work alone and unsupervised Must be able to work in outdoor temperatures (hot and cold temperatures) You must be able to work weekends, and overtime work as needed 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S. Speak English Must be physically able to do the following: Climb on and off rail-car & trucks Operate rail-car hand brakes & switches Consistently sit, kneel, squat, bend, stand and climb on elevated surfaces Lift 15 lbs. and work safely with this weight at knee, waist and shoulder level Lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the course of a shift Operate basic hand tools Wear required PPE including FR clothing
