Position Overview The Portable Crusher Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of portable crushing and screening equipment to produce aggregate materials that meet quality and production standards. This role involves equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and adherence to all safety and environmental policies. Key Responsibilities (Essential duties and functions) Operate portable crushing, screening, and conveying equipment in a production environment. Set up, tear down, and move portable plants as required by job site needs. Monitor material flow and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal production and product quality. Perform daily equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs. Troubleshoot and resolve operational equipment issues in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Follow all company safety policies and
MSHA/OSHA
regulations. Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and dispatch to coordinate operations. Assist with general labor duties as needed, including site preparation and housekeeping. Accurately complete production and maintenance reports. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Work Requirements:
2+ years of experience operating crushing and/or heavy equipment preferred. Experience with portable crushing plants strongly preferred. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs. Knowledge of aggregate production processes is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, overtime, and travel to various job sites. Strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Valid Driver's license is preferred.
