Full-Time / Travel Position Position Summary We are hiring an experienced Roller Operator for a major asphalt preparation project in Ashton, VA. The initial project is expected to last approximately 2 months and focuses on compaction and preparation of stone and aggregate surfaces for asphalt installation. After completion of the Ashton project, this role will continue as a travel position supporting additional company projects in multiple states. Responsibilities Operate roller/compactor equipment for asphalt base preparation Compact stone, aggregate, and subgrade materials according to specifications Work closely with grading and excavation crews Monitor surface conditions and compaction quality Perform daily inspections and basic equipment maintenance Maintain safe work practices on active construction sites Requirements Previous roller/compactor operating experience required Experience on roadwork, grading, or asphalt preparation projects preferred Ability to work outdoors in active construction environments Valid driver's license required OSHA 10 preferred MSHA certification is a plus Must be willing to travel full-time between company projects Pay $26-30 per hour depending on experience

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
