Equipment Operator

Luck Stone's Farmville Market is looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to join the team. This role will float between the Prince Edward and Burkeville Quarries and will be responsible for safely operating a Haul Truck, Water Truck, and Yard Loader. The selected candidate will also receive training on the #988 Pit Loader to support continued growth and flexibility within the market. Duties include but are not limited to: Pre-shift and post shift inspection of vehicle Operating heavy equipment using proper loading and dumping techniques Builds piles and ramps Ensures vehicle receives proper maintenance Willingness to help with projects and activities other than heavy equipment operation around the site when needed Prioritize safety around the site for self and others Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is cleaned and organized at the end of each shift Qualifications Previous experience operating heavy equipment around a quarry or large construction site Excellent communication skills Must have a team-oriented outlook toward work and accomplishing goals Pay Starts at $24.38 an hour and can increase depending on skill and experience Competitive hourly pay (biweekly) Benefits start day 1 of employment and include: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability Paid time off: personal, vacation, holidays, 5 well-being days Matching 401K and retirement pension Luck Companies is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
