Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Equipment Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment used in site preparation, grading, excavation, and footing installation. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a safe job site. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, compact track loaders, and other construction equipment Perform grading, excavation, trenching, and site preparation work Assist with footing layout and excavation according to project specifications Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs Work closely with project supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule Load and unload materials as needed Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures Maintain a clean and organized job site Perform general labor duties when equipment operation is not required Qualifications Previous experience operating construction equipment required Experience with grading, excavation, and footing work preferred Ability to read and follow grade stakes, plans, and project specifications Strong understanding of construction site safety practices Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks as needed Strong communication and Team work skills
