Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and construction site experience. This role involves transporting materials and equipment to various job sites, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. The Truck Driver will also be responsible for operating various types of machinery as needed, including graders, bulldozers, and backhoes. Responsibilities Safely operate trucks and heavy equipment to transport materials to construction sites. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Operate graders, bulldozers, backhoes, and other heavy machinery as required. Assist with Safe Digging operations when necessary. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and materials transported. Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and site requirements. Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials to prevent damage or spillage. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation is preferred. Experience in construction site operations is highly desirable. Familiarity with grader operation, Safe Digging, tanker transport, and other heavy machinery is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
