Excavator & Loader Operator

Heavy Equipment Operator Munson Earth Moving Corp. - Williston, VT Munson Earth Moving Corp. is looking to add an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to our growing team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment used in earthmoving and sitework operations . Operators may run excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, graders, skid steers, scrapers, and other equipment depending on jobsite needs.

Pay:

Competitive and based on experience . Job Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment in support of earthmoving, excavation, and sitework projects Perform pre-operation equipment inspections to ensure machinery is safe and ready for use Grade and shape surfaces using dozers, graders, and other equipment Load and move soil, gravel, and site materials onto trucks Perform daily preventative maintenance including fluid checks, lubrication, and basic servicing Report mechanical issues or equipment defects to the maintenance department Review jobsite conditions prior to work to identify hazards or potential problem areas Follow company safety policies and jobsite procedures Participate in weekly toolbox safety meetings and required trainings Assist with the movement and positioning of materials and equipment Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized Skills & Qualifications Experience operating heavy construction equipment Knowledge of earthwork, excavation, and material handling Ability to perform basic math and grade measurements Ability to follow plans, instructions, and directions from supervisors Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively with a crew Commitment to safe work practices and quality work Benefits Munson Earth Moving Corp. offers a competitive benefits package including: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation Additional company benefits
