Hevy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a motivated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our crew and contribute to a variety of outdoor construction projects. Responsibilities Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, and trucks for landscaping, excavation, and trail-building projects. Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to ensure accurate and efficient equipment use according to project specifications. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget, assisting co-workers as needed. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including OSHA standards, to maintain a safe work environment. Utilize a variety of tools and equipment, including hand, power, and pneumatic tools, as required by the project. Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic in all job duties. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of relevant or transferable experience in equipment operation within utility, construction, masonry, or public works is preferred, but motivated candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform basic equipment maintenance. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. Familiarity with a range of heavy and light equipment, including excavators, front-loaders, trucks, tractors, skid steers, and chippers. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Willingness to learn and use technology as it relates to the position. Valid drivers license. Compensation $24 $32 per hour , depending on experience. Overtime opportunities available. Weekly paychecks.
