is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Equipment Transport & Yard Technician to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role will begin as a 90-day assignment, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position with benefits based on performance and business needs. This position plays a key role in supporting daily field and yard operations, ensuring equipment is transported safely, maintained properly, and organized efficiently.   • delivering high-quality craftsmanship that exceeds expectations Key Responsibilities Safely tow and maneuver loaded tilt trailers, including operating in tight or confined areas Load, secure, and transport equipment using proper strapping and tie-down techniques Operate small equipment safely on and off trailers, including: Steel sheets Pipes Spreaders Small dozers Side-by-sides (UTVs) Conex containers Clean equipment using pressure washers and maintain overall condition Maintain yard cleanliness and organization, including: Collecting and disposing of garbage Keeping equipment orderly and accessible Assisting with inventory tracking as needed Follow company safety procedures, policies, and supervisor direction Qualifications Proven experience towing loaded tilt trailers, including in tight areas (required) Knowledge of proper load securement and strapping techniques (required) Experience operating small construction or industrial equipment (required) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a UA (urinalysis/drug screening, includes THC) Experience using a pressure washer for equipment cleaning Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently (self-starter) and follow directions Familiarity with the Puget Sound area is a plus Work Environment & Physical Requirements Outdoor work environment with exposure to varying weather conditions Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and physical labor Active, hands-on role supporting yard and field operations Employment Type Temporary (90 days) with opportunity for full-time permanent hire with benefits Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.
