Job Description

Culbert Construction Inc is a Heavy Civil and Infrastructure General Contractor that has been successfully contracting in the Eastern Washington for over 28 years. A position on the Team CCi will give you the opportunity to Operate late model heavy equipment. Potential teammate must have at least 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience. Must be proficient at the following Extensive knowledge of the order of operations of installing mainline water, sewer, storm, and irrigation. Providing crucial support to the mainline team buy properly placing material when and where they are needed to keep the main line crew running smoothly . Team leadership Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Responsibilities will include but not limited to Work safely by yourself and with others Great attitude, team focused, helpful, willingness to mentor others Reporting needs to management Precise record keeping Thorough knowledge of structure components and the ability to read cut sheets to orientate structures. Thorough knowledge of pipe types, fittings, and accessories needed to assemble fully. Temperament and experience Requirements Five years experience running loader for mainline sewer, water, and storm in existing roadways Municipal Road Reconstruct. Infrastructure upgrade installing new water, sewer, storm mains and laterals New construction (Subdivision) Experience working around existing utility's Reading and interrupting plans and specs Complete understanding of all types of heavy equipment utilized in road and utility construction Experienced in excavations more than 10 feet, capable of operating 3 or more pieces of equipment at optimum production and efficiency while safely excavating around underground and overhead utility's Strong knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to trench safety Work safely by yourself and with others A great team first attitude Five years of employment in this capacity Must be proficient in reading plans and specs GPS experience a plus Driving Requirements CDL is a plus but not required.
