Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Truck Driver, where your skills will drive the success of construction projects and site operations. In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery and commercial trucks to facilitate excavation, grading, paving, and material transport. Your expertise will ensure safety, efficiency, and quality on every job site. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as skid steer, excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and dump trucks with precision and safety. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Transport construction materials, equipment, and personnel between sites using commercial trucks while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist in site preparation activities including grading, paving, and excavation tasks to support project timelines. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to execute construction plans efficiently and safely. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents or delays. Document operational activities accurately through logs and reports for project tracking and compliance. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, dozers, loaders, and dump trucks. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Construction site experience with familiarity in paving, grading, excavation, or related activities Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
