Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team supporting energy industry operations. This role includes a mix of physical labor and equipment operation. The successful candidate will safely and efficiently operate a variety of large-scale heavy equipment to support excavation, material handling, site preparation, and reclamation activities. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment including, but not limited to: Excavators (various sizes) Bulldozers Haul Trucks (rigid and articulated) Skid Steers Compactors / Rollers Required Qualifications Minimum 2-5 years of verifiable experience operating heavy equipment in mining, oil & gas, or heavy civil construction Valid driver's license (CDL preferred for some positions) OSHA 10 or ability to obtain MSHA certification (Part 48 or 46) or ability to obtain Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in energy extraction industries Ability to read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and blueprints Good spatial awareness and depth perception Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in remote locations
