Fort Wainwright Pay:

Starting at $22.00/hour (DOE)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM TDL Staffing is seeking a dependable and skilled Painter to support residential and community projects at Fort Wainwright. This role primarily focuses on interior painting, with some exterior work as needed, and is a great fit for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys staying active throughout the day. In this position, you'll be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and ensuring a clean, professional finish while working within established schedules. The right candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. What You'll Do Paint interior and exterior surfaces of homes, common areas, and community buildings Prepare surfaces and protect surrounding areas using drop cloths, masking, and other materials Apply textures to walls and ceilings using appropriate equipment Maintain painting tools, equipment, and supplies in an organized and clean condition Complete assigned work according to project timelines and quality standards Assist with additional site tasks and responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of painting techniques and materials, along with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a good work ethic are important in this role. Candidates should be comfortable working in a structured environment and following direction while maintaining quality standards. Minimum Requirements 1-3 years of painting or related trade experience Knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, and application methods (brush, roller, sprayer) Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Ability to obtain post access (Real ID required) Ability to pass a background screening as part of the hiring process Ability to pass a respirator fit/physical if required for spray applications Support a drug free work environment Ready to get started
