Calera, Alabama Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coat Painter to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring fabricated products meet high-quality standards by applying durable, professional-grade finishes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and clean metal surfaces for coating, including sanding, masking, and applying pre-treatment Apply powder coating to fabricated parts using spray equipment Operate and maintain powder coating systems, including spray guns and curing ovens Monitor oven temperatures and bake times to ensure proper curing Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and adherence to specifications Perform touch-ups, rework, or recoating as needed Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Assist with material handling, part hanging, and packaging of finished products Collaborate with production teams to meet daily schedules and deadlines Qualifications Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred Familiarity with spray equipment, curing ovens, and safety practices Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to read and follow work instructions and production schedules Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Team-oriented with solid communication and organizational skillsRequirements Education:
