In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help bring visions to life, enhance building aesthetics, and ensure durable, high-quality results. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about construction, renovation, and creating beautiful environments through professional painting techniques. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications Perform specialized painting tasks including industrial coating applications, stucco finishing, plastering, and restoration projects Execute construction painting tasks on new builds or renovation sites while adhering to safety standards and project timelines Install fixtures, trim carpentry, caulking, and perform masonry or concrete finishing as needed for comprehensive project completion Utilize construction estimating skills to assess material needs and ensure efficient use of resources on each job site Requirements Proven experience in residential and commercial painting environments with construction site experience preferred Knowledge of color theory for selecting appropriate finishes and achieving desired aesthetic effects Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Skilled in the use of hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, scaffolding equipment, and power tools including welding equipment when necessary Familiarity with renovation processes including drywall installation, framing carpentry, fixture installation, restoration work, and masonry techniques Basic math skills for measurements and estimating material quantities effectively Strong understanding of construction estimating principles for project planning and resource management Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in all aspects of painting and surface preparation Physical ability to work at heights or in confined spaces while maintaining safety protocols Join our team if you're eager to apply your diverse skill set in a fast-paced environment where your craftsmanship makes a visible difference!
