Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance their aesthetic appeal, and ensure durable finishes that stand the test of time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation and restoration to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and eye for detail to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment such as airless paint sprayers, and hand tools Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications Perform surface repairs including plastering, caulking, drywall patching, and stucco application for seamless finishes Execute specialized painting techniques such as industrial painting or decorative finishes based on project requirements Use power tools and hand tools efficiently for surface preparation and finishing tasks Assist with remodeling projects by installing fixtures, trim carpentry, or performing masonry and concrete finishing as needed Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction painting with a strong understanding of construction site protocols Knowledge of color theory to select appropriate color schemes and finishes that meet client expectations Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Skilled in the use of hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, scrapers, and trowels; familiarity with power tools including sanders and spray equipment Experience with plastering, stucco application, masonry work, framing carpentry, and fixture installation is highly desirable Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities; familiarity with schematics for technical tasks Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork in fast-paced environments Additional skills such as welding, renovation experience, handyman skills or industrial painting are a plus Join our team if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
