$18/hr + Performance Bonus About Us Spray-Net is a growing exterior and cabinet refinishing company specializing in factory-quality finishes applied on-site. We use a proven system that combines proper surface preparation, spraying techniques, and consistent processes to deliver high-end results for homeowners. We are hiring an Assistant Painter / Prepper to support our lead painters in cabinet refinishing and future exterior projects across the Phoenix metro area. What You'll Do This is a hands-on support role focused on preparation and job site assistance, including: Masking, taping, and protecting work areas (floors, walls, fixtures, cabinetry) Sanding, cleaning, and prepping cabinet surfaces for spraying Assisting lead painter with spray setup and breakdown Moving materials, doors, and equipment on job sites Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe Light touch-up work and prep support as trained Learning Spray-Net systems and processes for future advancement What We're Looking For No advanced painting experience required. We will train the right person Construction, handyman, or labor experience is helpful but not necessary Strong attention to detail (prep work quality is critical to final finish) Dependable, punctual, and willing to work on a team Comfortable with physical work (standing, lifting, masking, sanding) Reliable transportation to job sites across the Valley Positive attitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade Compensation & Growth Starting pay: $18/hour Performance Bonus System with bonuses based on: Job site efficiency (prep completion speed & organization) Quality of prep work (reduction in rework or corrections) Reliability and teamwork Supporting job completion on schedule Clear path to advancement into: Painter Lead Painter Crew Lead Schedule & Work Structure Full-time hours available based on project volume Work is project-based , meaning hours may vary depending on scheduled jobs in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area Flexibility is important during slower periods, with more consistent hours during peak demand Opportunity to move into more stable full-time scheduling as skills and workload increase Why This Role Is a Great Fit Learn a high-demand specialized trade (cabinet refinishing system work) Get hands-on training from experienced painters Be part of a structured system (not random painting jobs) Opportunity to grow into higher-paying skilled positions Work in a growing Phoenix-area home improvement market How to Apply Submit your resume with brief description of your background.
