Journeyman Painter Commercial / Industrial | Long-Term Opportunity | High-Profile Projects Showcase Your Craft on Major Industrial Projects We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Painter to join a growing commercial and industrial painting team supporting large-scale, high-visibility projects , including work at TSMC and multiple data centers . This role is ideal for a skilled painter who takes pride in quality, efficiency, and working alongside a tight-knit crew on complex job sites. What You'll Do As a Journeyman Painter, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality finishes on industrial and commercial surfaces.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating gas-powered spray rigs to efficiently coat large surfaces such as: Walls and ceilings Doors and frames Concrete, piping, and industrial structures Preparing surfaces and applying primers, epoxy, polyurethane, and specialty coatings Setting up, adjusting, and thoroughly cleaning spray equipment before and after use Safely operating aerial lifts to access elevated work areas Performing paint prep work with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail Working collaboratively in small, skilled crews to meet production schedules and quality standards What You Bring Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial painting Strong proficiency with gas spray rigs and spray gun techniques Experience working from aerial lifts Solid experience in industrial-grade coatings and finishes Ability to work efficiently on large-scale projects with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Strong paint and surface preparation experience Comfortable working in small crews (5-10 people) Ownership of required trade tools Consistent focus on safety and jobsite professionalism Why You'll Want to Work Here ✅ Long-Term Stability This company is committed to growing its team with long-term, career-minded painters , not short-term labor. ✅ Major Projects, Steady Work With over 120 employees currently deployed , the company supports large, ongoing projects—including TSMC and multiple data center builds —offering consistent work and project variety. ✅ Growth & Advancement As the company continues to expand, experienced journeypainters have opportunities to take on lead responsibilities and career advancement . ✅ Team-Focused Culture Work alongside skilled professionals who value craftsmanship, reliability, and teamwork. Work Environment & Schedule 📍 On-site work at TSMC 🕔 Start time: 5:00 AM ⏱️ 8-10 hour shifts , depending on crew and assignment 👷 Crews of 5-10 painters across various contracts within the facility 😷 Must be comfortable wearing a respirator during painting tasks Industrial, fast-paced, and safety-focused environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
