LEAD PAINTER POSITION SUMMARY

Bootz & Duke Sign Co. is a premier full-service sign company that has been serving Arizona and National Accounts for 60 years. We are actively recruiting for a full-time Lead Painter with 5+ years of experience. Must be familiar with The Matthew Paint System, Montex, and Automotive Painting. We are looking for a long-term, dependable, quality-minded, team-player with a history of commercial painting and leadership experience. LEAD PAINTER COMPENSATION

This is a full-time, hourly position. Hours are Monday - Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm. Pay range is $24.00 - $30.00 DOE. Some OT may be available but not guaranteed.

LEAD PAINTER DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years' experience with The Matthew Paint System, Montex, and/or Automotive Painting. Sanding, masking, and paint prepping experience. Previous leadership experience in a Paint Department is a plus. Ability to manage projects, scheduling, and paint times effectively. Ability to work independently and as a team to achieve company goals. Strong communication skills; ability to follow and provide directions; effectively train, guide and coach paint helpers towards improvement. Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements or OSHA certified. Able to obtain, follow, and adhere to all required safety recommendations, trainings, and certifications for the position. Dependability and consistently showing up for all scheduled shifts. Ability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday. Ability to work on site at our company in west Phoenix. Able to wear work outside Prior experience in a metal fabrication shop environment is a plus.
