Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential Painter and bring vibrant, flawless finishes to homes through expert craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse residential projects, transforming spaces with precision and creativity. As a Residential Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints and finishes, and ensuring every project meets high standards of quality and durability. Your skills in color theory, surface preparation, and various painting techniques will help homeowners realize their vision while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Duties Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply primer, paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials needed for each job Perform specialized tasks including plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation Conduct restoration projects on older structures by stripping old paint and applying new finishes with precision Maintain safety protocols on construction sites while handling tools like scaffolding, welding equipment, concrete finishing tools, and other industrial equipment Requirements Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and airless spray equipment Familiarity with plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco work, masonry, and renovation techniques Basic math skills for measurements and estimations necessary for project planning Hands-on experience with maintenance tasks such as fixture installation or handyman repairs is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively Join us if you're passionate about transforming homes through expert craftsmanship!
