Full Job Description Painter Compensation Range:

$27.00•$29.00 per hour

Position Summary:

The Painter position is responsible for maintaining the painting and wallpapering throughout the property. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Major areas of responsibility/ management include, but are not limited to: Schedule and prioritize all painting and wallpaper maintenance throughout the property. Maintain the resorts OSHA/Safety Programs within the paint shop, and work area through: following safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness, proper storage of paints and chemicals, utilizing personal protective equipment when necessary and reporting any potential hazards. Minimum 6 months experience Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties Maintain and control inventory through established pars for all necessary tools and equipment. Communicate to all departments of the property regarding status updates and pertinent information; guests, department managers, and fellow associates.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting Mixing and applying paints, varnishes, and sealants for a lasting finish Covering exposed objects and surfaces Using fillers such as putty and plaster to repair cracks Obeying workplace safety rules Keeping the workspace and tools clean Must be able to perform physical abilities such as lifting, walking, stooping, handling and moving objects up to 50 pounds Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools and equipment of the janitorial cleaning industry Additional Information Critical features of this job are described under the previous headings.
