Luxury living, Van Ness Properties, is seeking an experienced Painter to provide ongoing building and resident maintenance with respected team members. Core Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching holes, and repairing cracks. Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces with drop cloths, tape, and plastic coverings. Apply primers, paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Match paint colors and finishes, according to property specifications. Paint interior walls, ceilings, doors, trim, cabinets, and exterior surfaces as needed. Clean and maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and proper coverage. Remove old paint, wallpaper, or damaged finishes when required. Follow safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, ladders, and equipment. Complete apartment turnovers between tenants within required timelines. Perform touch-up painting and minor drywall repairs. Maintain a clean, professional appearance of vacant and occupied units. Ensure compliance with company policies and local safety regulations. Skills and Qualifications Minium of 5 years of professional painting Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation. Ability to use ladders and work at heights safely. Basic drywall repair and finishing skills. Time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team. Attention to

Physical Requirements :

Extensive mobility required. Must be able to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to: ability to walk property, including 4 flights of stairs, to complete physical inspections, deliver resident communications, and show apartments. Significant Typing and computer use required.
