PAINTER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Present a clean and professional image (personal actions, hygiene and appearance) Painting residential and commercial building interiors and exteriors. Working cleanly (keeping dust, paint chips and paint off floors, plants, furnishings, etc.) Completing all projects as assigned by the supervisor. Properly prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, or other equipment. Use hand tools like caulking guns, putty knives, and trim carpentry tools for detailed finish work around fixtures and trim. Maintain safety standards on-site by following proper procedures for working with scaffolding, power tools, sprayers, and hazardous materials.
