Apprentice Painter (Residential) Part-Time → Full-Time Growth

Job Description:

Fred's Painting is hiring 1-2 apprentice painters who already understand the basics and can keep up with a fast-paced, quality-driven crew. This is not an entry-level role — you need real residential experience and solid fundamentals.

What You'll Be Doing:

Masking and protecting surfaces with clean, sharp lines Surface prep (sanding, caulking, patching, minor repairs) Assisting with spray and back-roll applications Keeping job sites clean and organized Following direction and working efficiently without constant oversight Requirements (non-negotiable): Minimum 2 years residential painting experience Strong masking skills (attention to detail is critical) Reliable transportation — jobs may be up to 50 miles from Turlock, CA Consistent reliability — show up on time, ready to work Must have basic painting tools Ability to work independently and take direction List of references from past employers required (will be verified)

Position Details:

Pay:

$17-$22/hour
