Full-Time / Part-Time Job Overview A Painter's Helper assists professional painters with residential and commercial painting projects. This role involves preparing surfaces, moving materials, maintaining clean job sites, and supporting the painting crew to ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities Prepare work areas by covering furniture, floors, and fixtures Clean and prep surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, and caulking Load and unload painting materials and equipment Assist painters with brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other tools Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow safety procedures and company standards Help with setup and cleanup at the beginning and end of projects Communicate professionally with team members and customers Qualifications Previous painting or construction experience preferred but not required Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders Reliable transportation and punctuality required Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Preferred Skills Basic knowledge of painting tools and materials Experience with prep work, masking, sanding, or caulking Positive attitude and customer service skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunities for advancement On-the-job training provided Steady work with a growing local company Call 303-469-4124
