In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our shops clean, professional, and visually sharp for customers every day. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, moves efficiently, and can consistently deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing drywall, stucco, or other materials to ensure long-lasting, high-quality finishes Paint interior and exterior areas across multiple Jiffy Lube locations (walls, doors, trim, bays, etc.) with a strong attention to detail and consistency Apply paint, stain, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and airless sprayers to achieve smooth, professional results Perform touch-ups and full repaints to maintain brand standards and keep locations looking sharp and customer-ready Complete light repairs including caulking, patching, minor carpentry, and surface restoration as needed Operate hand and power tools efficiently for prep and repair work (sanders, sprayers, etc.) Mix and match paints accurately to maintain consistent color and finish across all locations Travel between locations to complete projects on schedule and maintain curb appeal across the region Maintain tools, materials, and a clean, safe work environment at all times Work independently, manage time effectively, and consistently meet deadlines without sacrificing quality Skills Extensive knowledge of residential and commercial painting techniques with experience in construction estimating preferred. Strong understanding of color theory for creating visually appealing finishes tailored to client preferences. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans for precise project execution. Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, trowels, brushes, rollers, and power tools including airless sprayers and sanders. Experience with plastering, stucco application, masonry work, drywall repair, and fixture installation enhances project quality. Familiarity with renovation processes involving framing carpentry, trim carpentry, restoration work, and remodeling projects. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates accurately. Knowledge of industrial painting techniques applicable to large-scale or specialized projects. Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols and working in various environments including scaffolding or elevated platforms. Handyman experience that includes welding or maintenance tasks is a plus for versatile project support. Embark on a career where your skills elevate spaces from ordinary to extraordinary! Skills At least some real painting experience (commercial is a plus, but if you can work, we'll know quick) Know how to prep right—sanding, scraping, patching, caulking. That's where the job is won or lost Can run a brush, roller, and sprayer without making a mess Understand the difference between doing it fast and doing it right—and can do both Can fix small stuff (drywall patches, touch-ups, minor repairs) without turning it into a big deal Show up ready to work. Not late, not dragging, not full of excuses Can work alone, stay on task, and get it done without someone standing over you Have your own reliable way to get between locations Can handle being on your feet, on ladders, and moving all day
Pay:
